How Many Ounces Are There In A Sunday?
Perspectives on Sunday Liquor Sales in Minnesota
Arguments on the hot topic of liquor sales seem to boil down to whether stores being open Sunday results in more sales and more choice. Dakota Regional Chamber of Commerce--in partnership with the Minnesota Retailers Association--brings a panel of perspectives to this issue at the February 3 Legislative Breakfast.
As the Minnesota House seemingly nears a vote to pass Sunday sales, the Senate is likely undecided. Join us for this insiders panel conversation touching on Blue Laws, public sentiment, consumer behavior, impacts on liquor stores, border communities, Minnesota's current system, and unintended consequences.
Panelists:
Rep. Laurie Halverson, Minnesota House of Representatives | Kenn Rockler, Tavern League of Minnesota | Tony Chesak, Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association | Andrew Schmitt, Minnesota Beer Activists |
